Come join Ministry Our Lady of Victory's team as an Environmental Services Assistant (Housekeeper) in Stanley, WI. You will be part of a team that takes pride in the cleanliness of our organization that covers more than 72,000 square feet. This position is scheduled for 20 hours per week Monday thru Friday with every 5th weekend and holidays. The right candidate for this opening will work between the hours of 6:00am-11:00pm on a variable basis as needed to cover the needs of the facility. In this facility, the housekeeper will:
Use proper techniques to clean patient rooms, utility rooms, restrooms, offices, waiting rooms, etc. as assigned.

Perform cleaning of floors, walls, ceilings, furniture, vents, fixtures, windows, carpets, etc. as required and be able to demonstrate proper methods using various equipment as necessary.

Be responsible for maintaining equipment used, restocking housekeeping supplies, and returning cleaned equipment to proper storage units at the end of each shift.

Observe and report to maintenance any burned out light bulbs, exit lights, overhead lights, fluorescent lights, room call lights, etc, as soon as practical.

Demonstrates proper isolation room cleaning following gowning procedures and proper mask usage when applicable.

Picks up trash/recyclables according to policy following proper procedures for handling/disposal of infectious/hazardous waste.

Ability to demonstrate usage of various chemicals; is aware of location of Material Safety Data Sheets and their use.
