Performs group therapy services for purposes of therapeutic intervention in both inpatient and outpatient treamtent milieus across all populations. Additionally, as a masters prepared clinician is able to provided services involving assessment, planning, counseling, and education services to patients and families under supervision of licensed clinician.
Primary responsibility for service delivery in group form across all inpatient and outpaitent services for purposes of therapeutic engagement/treatment. Additionally, if called upon related to need, is able to perform assessment for level of care, care planning, and ongoing treatment under supervision of licensed clinician.
If called upon related to volume need, is able to provide individual, group, and family therapies under supervision of licensed clinician. Is able to coordinates discharge plan, case management, and refers patients for follow-up care under supervision of licensed clinician.
Master's prepared in behavioral health field.
3-5 years related experience preferred.
Mastery of group therapeutic work with willingness to apply creative methods for patient engagement required. Requires critical thinking, organizational skills, decisive judgment, analytical skills, problem solving skills, communication skills, and good customer service skills.
Must be able to handle multiple tasks, work in a stressful environment and take appropriate actions as needed.
Full time 40 hours per week position.
Schedule is primarily Monday through Friday. In healthcare environment, weekend and holiday rotations may be scheduled.
