Description
Develops and executes brand management and communications strategies that develop and promote the corporate BNY Mellon brand along with LOBs and Internal Divisions. Directs a broad range of activities: brand standards development, name development, intellectual property (trademarks, etc.) management, communications campaigns development (GIS) and proposes strategic initiatives that develop the brand and maximize impact of program launches (Sibos publications). Establishes creative objectives, develops and manages projects, identifies and engages with key constituents company-wide and determines the optimal communications vehicles to meet project goals and client needs. The brand manager must possess comprehensive knowledge of brands and how they are managed in a global company, of the organization, an understanding of relevant competitors and industry best practices, marketing communications strategies, product depth and global trends. This expertise is applied to department strategies and initiatives and serves as the basis for day to day functions. In addition, the following skills are required: Brand Management- Guideline development, authoring and implementation- Intellectual Property (naming and trademark issues)- Stationery System Management Familiarity with the full suite of stationery items Marketing Communications- Communications Campaign development and implementation on a companywide basis- Familiarity with all forms of Marketing Collateral (print and digital)- Presentation Template Management problem solving skills are a must in this fast-paced, multi-tasking environment. Issues surrounding consistent adherence to brand standards, flexible responses to the unique requests from company and LOB level marketing communications will all come under scrutiny and will require measured but timely solutions. Small brand changes have a tremendous impact globally. The Brand Manager is a key player on the Brand and Marketing Communications Director's team and an essential departmental resource to the greater LOB community. The position impact worldwide, companywide image, via consistent brand execution and successful client-facing marketing communications programs. Strong interpersonal skills are vital. The viability of brand strategy depends on the ability of the brand manager to communicate effectively with a broad range of constituencies including, colleagues, clients and vendors.

Qualifications
BA or BS. MBA preferred. 7 years. Brand Management/Marketing Communication experience preferred.
