Provide administrative support to the NMW program to coordinate the scheduling of parent appointments, including secondary intake opportunities. Gather and provide all data entry for participation hours, employment verification and data need to submit required reports for the NMW program.
Administrative Support -
Teamwork/Training - Attends and participates in scheduled staff meetings and completes required training. Follows assigned schedule. Maintains positive relationships and good communication with co-workers, supervisor, and all other employees of SL Start and program stakeholderes.
- Schedules staff and parents for secondary intake appointments
- Ensure scheduling of activities and transportation are adequately communicated to all key players, including individuals receiving services, their family, guardians, and residential service providers.
- Assists in updating employment plans with factual information such as employment status changes, as directed by manager.
- Tracks monthly total service hours for reporting.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associates degree (AA) or equivalent from two year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with employment services strongly preferred.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write professional documents and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization. Bilingual preferred. English and Spanish.
Ability to work with mathematical figures and amounts. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations including billing, service hour calculations, and placement percentages.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to establish work priorities and to work independently.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
At least 18 years of age.
