Assist in the development, execution and maintenance of a Risk Management Program. The Senior Risk Analyst would assist in the management of all aspects of risk within the business unit. Ensuring that risk processes, programs and reports are consistent with corporate direction and policies.
Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
Ensure compliance with group, regulatory, state, and local laws that would impact Property Services and Procurement.
Promote professional and ethical standards and establish a compliance and operational risk awareness culture at all levels.
Assist the Senior Risk Manager with the development, implementation and maintenance of an overall risk management process.
Provide guidance to the business line risk liaisons and managers for regulatory expertise and solutions on risk and compliance issues within the business unit.
Help in the development and documentation of consistent processes such as the following but not limited to this list (policies and procedures, implementation of group policy standards, training program, vendor management, access reviews, issue tracking, change management, self-identified issues, risk identification and assessment, business continuity, communication, etc.).
Report status of the risk management program activities to the Senior Risk Manager.
Interface with other risk and control functions within the division and the organization and ensure Corporate Risk Management expectations are communicated clearly and effectively.
Support the business lines in the day-to-day management of operational and regulatory compliance risks.
This position has a considerable impact on how the Risk Management Program is executed and maintained within the business lines to ensure compliance with operational and regulatory risk management activities. This position works closely with the business lines in an advisory role to ensure compliance with RBS and CFG Group Policies and Standards within their daily activities.
Required Experience and Skills
3 - 5 years of relevant Risk and / or Compliance specific experience with a major financial institution
Ability to focus on risk initiative to help assess and manage risk, while drilling down and implementing the necessary level of controls
Proven and demonstrable analysis and reporting experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills delivering a clear, concise message.
Proven ability to work proactively, collaboratively and persuasively with others
Strong teamwork orientation
Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
Education and Certifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.

Hours per Week: 40
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM
