Position Description

Recruiting Programs Specialist

Expedia is seeking a highly motivated and talented Recruiting Programs Specialist with a desire to impact and support the global recruiting organization’s key programmatic initiatives. As Recruiting Programs Specialist, you will be responsible for the coordination of specified tasks, initiatives and projects within various global recruiting programs. As a subject matter expert for global recruiting programs, you will generate ideas and help implement key priorities for the global recruiting team.

Responsibilities :

Background Screening Program:

- Serve as primary point of contact and manage all daily activities for global pre-employment background screening program which includes:

- Monitor and respond to inquiries sent to program mailbox

- Problem solving and troubleshooting

- Deliver communication and training to all levels of global recruiting organization on tools and processes

- Build strong partnerships with HR, Recruiting and Legal contacts to ensure smooth process for new hires and compliance with policy

- Manage vendor relationship and program, making strategic recommendations and identifying necessary actions to continually drive program improvements

- Develop, maintain and deliver communication of program changes, documentation, and project plans to track and ensure delivery of individual initiatives and overall program objectives

- Collect and analyze data and report trends and opportunities

- Use data analytics to evaluate vendor performance and drive continuous improvement

- Consult with internal and external stakeholders within all levels of management to ensure program excellence, progress, and priorities

- Identify risks and issues and independently work to identify solutions to resolve and mitigate including escalation as necessary

Contingent/Temporary Staffing and Direct Placement/FTE Agency Programs:

- Provide support for Program Manager of these programs which includes:

- Monitor and respond to inquiries sent to program mailbox

- Problem solving and troubleshooting

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree preferred with a minimum of 3 years of HR and/or Recruiting related work experience

- Exceptional customer service focus, including attention to producing quality results

- Strong communication, interpersonal, teamwork, and organizational skills

- Ability to prioritize multiple functions and tasks and manage work time efficiently

- Superior verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on professionalism, tact and diplomacy

- Proven ability to consistently and positively contribute in a fast-paced and ever changing work environment

- Self-directed, detail-oriented, problem solver with a burning desire to contribute to the organization's reputation and success

- Experience managing and supporting global background screening program preferred
