MAJOR JOB DUTIES:
Develop and maintain career ladders and Individual Development Plans that reflect training requirements for production management employees.
Plan, coordinate, and evaluate career-broadening opportunities in production management.
Develop and implement training plans, schedules, and methods to effectively accomplish training.
Identify general areas of proficiency and recommend appropriate formal/informal training courses to improve the core processes of technical functions.
Advise senior management of impacts of policy changes and home office policies and procedures.
Investigate problems and recommend solutions to resolve problems concerning operational or management matters.
Develop and analyze the Logistics Management Directorate Quality Performance Indicators.
Identify budgetary resources for required training.
Provide innovative teaching methods and techniques to assure training objectives are met.
Maintain close contact with other government agencies to ensure all instructional efforts reflect the latest changes, updates and current policy and procedures.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: At least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade (GS-11) or equivalent. Specialized experience must include developing and implementing training plans, schedules, and methods to effectively accomplish training programs for production management employees.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs)
Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
Broad knowledge of the entire technical spectrum with specialized knowledge in the production management function; knowledge of ABCS, G009, G072D, D043, D035, J023, CAV I, CAV II, and RDB systems.
Knowledge of instructional principles and techniques and skill and ability to provide instruction in the application of specialized techniques and procedure.
Knowledge of analytical techniques to develop and analyze Logistics Management Directorate Quality Performance Indicators and to assess manpower models to maintain proper allocation of production management employees.
Skill in preparing project papers and staff reports, and skill in organizing and delivering briefings to managers to encourage understanding and acceptance of data.
Skill in both oral and written articulation of ideas.
Broad knowledge of all facets of logistics support functions.
