As a UI/UX Engineer , you will be creating external customer facing web applications for our product lines. Projects can vary greatly, and require you act as an integral part of a cross-functional team. You will be identifying, creating, and implementing radiant/functional UI design while writing compliant front-end code in Ruby on Rails and other frameworks. Minimum of 3 years experience in UI/UX or front-end development

Fluency in Web Standards for XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, and DOM-Scripting

Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator

Experience developing against Ruby on Rails and/or other Open Source web application frameworks such as PHP or Django

Experience with Linux/Unix

Experience with Git or other version control systems

Familiarity with HTML5

Working knowledge of a JavaScript framework, such as jQuery, Prototype, etc.

Up to date knowledge of semantic markup, progressive enhancement and accessibility

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Design, or Art, or equivalent experience

Distinguishing Characteristics:
Experience with a CSS library/framework, such as SASS, Less, Compass, Blueprint, etc.
