HVAC Johnson Controls Service Technician,

Bermuda Energy Services Company Limited (BESCO) requires a qualified HVAC controls technician to service a wide variety of commercial and industrial control systems. BESCO is the Bermuda distributor for Honeywell and Johnson Controls.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of eight years experience in the installation, programming, commissioning and servicing of DDC control systems for commercial and industrial applications. Factory certification on Johnson Metasys and Tridium R2 and AX platforms is MANDATORY. Applicants without the aforementioned mandatory qualifications need not apply.

The successful candidate must be a qualified electrician or refrigeration mechanic with complete understanding of relevant local codes.Certification on Honeywell EBI is preferred. Working knowledge of chilled water systems, AHU’s, VAV’s, VFD’s and boilers is essential.Applicants will be under the direction of the Service Manager and should have a proven track record in the HVAC service industry.

The position requires strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong computer skills with particular experience using Visio and MS Office programs are also necessary. The successful candidate must be willing to work extended hours, nights, weekends and holidays, or as required on a service basis, have a clean driving record and be licensed to operate a small truck.
