Alltech is seeking a LAW Litigation Engineer/SQL Developer to join our team in Washington, DC.

The LAW Litigation Engineer/SQL Developer requires the providing of technical engineering and consultative guidance in support of the project. The Position requires a candidate to provide technical, procedural, and/or business workflow leadership for the integration of LAW in order to allow litigation teams to produce and organize paper and electronic files with a dynamic imaging and electronic discovering processing application.

Required:
Must demonstrate the following knowledge, experience, and abilitiesIn either a commercial or federal capacity, demonstrated hands-on engineering experience with the LAW application in addition to being able to successfully write SQL scripts in order to leverage the LAW database.

Minimize large data sets using Early Data Analyzer.

Processing large datasets using deNIST, deduplication, distributed EDLoader and distributed batch processing functions.

Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to e-Discovery processing.

Importing text, images and native files to document review systems (LexisNexis Concordance, kCura Relativity, iCONECT, etc) and general administration functions of same.

Generating of reports to support work performed at each step of workflow.

Maintaining awareness of new developments in e-Discovery processing, file types, formats and making recommendations to customers and management.

Using Microsoft PowerShell and Command Line for day to day administration on SQL Server.

Custom design database space and disk space monitoring/reporting system utilizing a variety of PowerShell, T-SQL scripts to produce dimensional models and statistics of growth and trends that can predict the growth cycle of data on disk drives.

Manage archiving of SQL Server backups and compression using Batch and PowerShell script routine to to adjust to database additions and deletions without user intervention.

Using custom Index Maintenance scripts to decide between REBUILD or REORGANIZE executions based on index size and percent of fragmentation with logging all executions to an audit table for later review by the DBA. (dynamic enough to adjust to database additions and deletions without intervention of a DBA...far better than the Microsoft Maintenance Plans.

Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to e-Discovery processing.

Using third party tools (e.g., Redgate) to help in backup and monitoring functions of an enterprise environment.

Generating reports to support work performed at each step of workflow.

Maintaining awareness of new developments in e-Discovery processing, file types, formats and making recommendations to customers and management.

Effective writing/verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently with minor guidance.

Capability in providing technical engineering practices recommendations, advice, and enhancements from integration engagements of prior successful systems integrations.

Capability in documenting problems and resolutions within the Remedy ticketing system, maintaining common HSRA directory structure, the current structure schema, systems documentation, etc.

Desired:
VMware server and VDI understanding/experience

ITIL certification

Experienced in participating on team projects in an Agile environment.

Active DOD Secret or above security clearance (in order to reduce the time required to obtain a public trust clearance and gain access to the customer site).
