Full-time, 64 hours per pay period working 8 and 12 hour shifts. Days, nights, weekends and holidays.
The Registered Nurse provides nursing care for patients during a specified work period. The nurse functions in structured care setting described as geographical and/or situational environments where the policies and procedures for the provision of health care are established. This nurse receives assistance from the full scope of nursing expertise. The nurse has knowledge of and utilizes appropriate age-related patient care protocols relating to patients’ physical and psychological needs.
When students are providing patient care, treatment and / or services as part of their training any/all employee may be asked to supervise the students.
Graduate from a NLN or AACN accredited nursing program is strongly preferred. Graduate from an approved nursing program is acceptable. Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
Currently licensed with the applicable State Nursing Board and /or possess multistate licensure privileges are required by position. PALS and ACLS certification is required every other year and TNCC certification is required every four years. CPR certification is required annually. Affiliation with an outside professional nursing organization is encouraged but is not required.
