Mars is the largest manufacturer of pet food in the world. Mars Petcare US manufactures pet food in

As an Intern, you will be given a 12 week assignment in a function. Your manager will determine specific work and objectives. Assignments will be based on business needs and your experience.
An Associate will be assigned as your mentor from the day you start and through your program. They are responsible for ensuring that you receive a full orientation to the Mars Petcare US organization, culture and philosophy, along with a personal development plan.
SUMMARY - Intern Business Analyst Small Format
The Business Analyst Intern performs analytics and project management in support of the construction of a key Customer Development Organizational Business Strategy.
They are responsible for collecting and analyzing data to make recommendations regarding specific strategies related to the pursuit of a differentiated go-to-market model that creates flexibility to sell to retailers and shoppers across all available outlets.
The Business Analyst Intern will support targeted work in the area of “Small Format” and “Value” shopper channels.
Key outcomes include a roadmap for shopper understanding and package design that meets shopper needs and retailer strategies.
Secondarily, the Business Analyst will support work related to the organizational and cost implications of the strategic choices.
Specifically, this work will involve the impact to the overall cost of goods reflected in the Company’s customer pricing available in a price list or “price card”.
Key owner of data and analytical process supporting the strategy
Recommendation owner for final strategy go-forward actions
Responsible for the accurate and timely consolidation of analysis and insight into consistent, actionable formats and the communication of the findings to the project team.
Consult with Project Team and key stakeholders to identify appropriate analytical needs.
Conduct competitive benchmark analysis
Strategy value determination
Present ongoing findings and recommendations to key stakeholders
