Programming experience in one or more of the following: HTML, Cold Fusion, Web Graphics, Adobe Photoshop, Corel Draw, Flash, Visual Basic, C#, Oracle, SQL Server, Crystal Reports, ASP.Net, Action Script, AJAX, and FLEX. Experience working on teams and software life cycle activities (i.e. requirements analysis, design, construction, implementation, test, installation, and operation).

Desired skills
Knowledge of standard Hanford web content management tools such as RapidWeb and SharePoint.

Specific Job Description
The successful candidate will follow established software engineering practices (configuration management, change control, testing, etc.). Designs, configures and maintains the website for company's internal and external communications. Insures the website is available to the desired audience with appropriate links and security. Develops, assesses and communicates website usage and security policies and procedures. Designs web page layout, graphics, color schemes and infrastructure to maintain a cohesive website based on the organization's communications strategies and goals. Researches and evaluates new related technologies. Provides solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects. Prepares written and oral presentations to status projects. Under direction of others, develops web page content based on interviews and other data provided; utilizes web page authoring system(s) to create layouts and coding.
