DESCRIPTION

Chief Financial Officer: Responsible for overssing the financial affairs of Cascade Medical, including but not limited to: GENERAL SUMMARY DESCRIPTION: Disbursement of funds, reimbursement, and recording of financial transactions, collection of accounts, purchase and issue of supplies, foundation and overall grant management and execution.Operational oversight or business services, accounting, materials management, and IT services.Works closely with CEO to develop and assume responsibility for goals and objectives of the strategic plan and financial budget and controls.Supports strategic direction, business principles, shared values and behavioral standards, poliices and procedures and code of conduct in all business and professional relationships. Ensures organizational corporate compliance, incuding development and implementation of related policies and procedures.

DUTIES

SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Execute and achieve financial objectives and goals in partnership with executive and administrative team.Design, implement and facilitate a financial planning process that integrates with our operational and strategic planning.Ensures regulatory and legal compliance in areas of responsibility.Provide leadership and guidance to department directors to achieve our mission and vision.Lead the organization in the area of financial planning and budget deelopment.Provide guidance to executives and department directors in identifying variances and developing and executing correction plans.Responsible for the development, revision and execution of our technology plan.Design, implement and manage a finanial reporting process which includes timely reporting to agencies external to CM, the Board and the CEO.Provide executive oversight during external audits and to the financial operations of the organization.Supervision and mentoring of assigned department directors and staff.Work with auditors to prepare year-end financia statements, cost reports and develop information during fieldwork.Assist in the performance of cost benefit analysis and the development of financial proforma for proposed and existing programs and services.Establish critical financial indicators and monitor financial health of CM.Manages and monitors managed care and system contracts for CM and the cash position of CM.Maintains internal control mechanisms as needed, and develops periodic reports as needed by different departments.Serves as Executive leader during the absence of the CEO and the COO.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of a Bachelor Degree in finance or closely related field.CPA certification preferred.At least five (5) years of experience as a CFO in healthcare finance and Critical Access Hospital reimbursement.Demonstrated executive finance skills acquired through extensive experience in a hospital environment.Proficient use of computer systems and database administration to oversee financial and information technology operations.Active affiliation with appropriate healthcare networks and organizations.Exceptional verbal, analytical and interpersonal skills which align with CM values.Specific knowledge of public hospital regulations related to the organization's finances and financial operations.Fully competent with laws applicable to hopsital and clinic finance acquired through directly related experience in a similar setting.Knowledgeable about health care reform, managed care and systems deelopment in order to advise the organization for long term growth.Demonstrated professionalism and resourcefulness in regards to collaborating and communicating with others about financial information in a manner easily understood.TO APPLY: Please apply online, completing all fields in detail, including salary history.
