HNTB seeks a Field Technical Specialist to support the Arlington, VA costruction team.

Responsibilities:

Supervising, mentoring and training of subordinate staff
Monitor internal HNTB project controls for assigned staff
Perform/Observe on-site material testing
Produce as-constructed schedules
Read and interpret complex contract documents
Monitor contractors progress and compare with progress schedule
Prepare Inspector's Daily report of contractors work
Responsible for maintaining as constructed drawings
Perform sophisticated, complicated mathematical calculations
Administer JPI's and budget

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's of Science in Engineering plus six (6) years construction related experience.

Environment and Physical Requirements: Work is generally performed in an office environment in which there is only minimal exposure to unpleasant and/or hazardous working conditions. Incumbent must have the ability to stand and sit frequently throughout an eight-hour period, reach vertically for overhead use as well as horizontally.
