We are seeking a motivated and driven individual that manages all functions and has ultimate responsibility for achievement of sales goals, operational activities and staff of a branch. Provides overall leadership to the branch as well as meet or exceed goals by developing new relationships through outside sales activates and community involvement in the market place; while deepening the existing relationships and delivering exceptional customer service. Develop and maintain an effective community banking team through consistent coaching and behaviors.
Oversee and ensure sales of new and existing business inside the branch and promote new sales generation outside the branch.
Accountable for individual sales goals as well as increasing branch sales, revenues and customer satisfaction.
Focus on sales activities both inside and outside of the branch, with the majority of their personal sales focus on outside sales activities. Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers. Cold call on prospective customers. Generate deposit and loan growth
Capture total customer relationship by identifying and referring customers to Wealth Management Advisors, Trust/Private Banking, Mortgage and Commercial Banking as well as any other line business that will enhance the banking relationship.
Develop and manage branch business plan to include marketing and promotional campaigns.
Promote positive bank image within the community. Represents Bank in local community organizations
Accountable for controlling branch expenses such as personnel expenses, operating losses, exception pricing and fee waivers. Operate branch within budget.
Ensure adherence to all compliance and audit requirements. Ensure the protection of all branch assets.
Ensure quality levels of branch customer service.
Provide leadership, coaching and mentoring to staff.
Cultivates a positive team culture which promotes and supports relationship building. Builds and environment where clear goals, inclusion in decision making, constant communication, feedback and recognition are a standard.
Develops and maintains an engaged and accountable workforce.
Develops and maintains a fair and equitable working environment.
5 years Retail banking experience and working knowledge of the Bank's products and services, related processes and regulations is required
5 years Strong customer and public relations skills is required
Minimum 3 years in a Branch Manager role required
Proven sales and negotiations experience. Understands sales management processes
Experience in penetrating the market and growing market share
Strong leadership, management, coaching, presentation and training skills
Strong program solving skills
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Skilled at various personal computer operations and software packages, including Word, Excel, Power Point and electronic mail systems
Ability to teach or foster development in others
5 year's relevant sales and banking experience and/or relevant lending experience preferred
