Assists Quality Supervisor with all aspects of administrative duties relating to the material review board (MRB) operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Provides coordination focal point of MRB operations between multiple departments
Creates and maintains extensive data capturing dashboards relating to all types of internal and vendor related non-conformances.
Verifies accuracy and completeness of non-conformance reports.
Communicates directly with various functional areas (quality, purchasing, production control, engineering, and machine shop supervisors) to resolve discrepancies and increase throughput of non-conformance material through the MRB.
Verifies non-conformance reports are documented and traceability of distinct occurrences are maintained for further analysis and/or future reference.
Occasionally, tracks down parts on the shop floor, trouble shoots root cause to non-conformances, and verifies accuracy of non-conformance entry in order to validate current-state process capability.
Assist in Six Sigma program and apply problem solving tools to enhance the overall quality process/system.
Conducts a quality check of all documents and reports relating to MRB operations, verifying accuracy of data, information, and calculations.

Education/Experience: Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two to three years related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend detailed instructions, various correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in team environments and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software; spreadsheet software (excel), SAP software, and word processing software.
