Eastern Kentucky University invites applications for a 9-month, tenure-track Assistant Professor position in social work in the Department of Anthropology, Sociology, and Social Work. We seek a social worker with experience in practice, policy, and university teaching. The successful candidate will have a strong record of and commitment to teaching undergraduate majors (a 4/4 teaching load), a strong scholarly agenda and record, sensitivity to rural and regional needs, and dedication to active community outreach.

MSW required at time of appointment; doctorate required for tenure and promotion; degree(s) must be from a regionally (SACS, North Central, etc.) accredited or internationally recognized institution.
Minimum Experience Qualifications:
Five years practice experience
