Responsibilities include but will not be limited to:
Process information, sorts, classify and code material for integration into systems

Retrieve/reference information for users

Coordinate with Supervisor on special project teams as assigned

Shift files to provide needed space

Maintain established procedures, rules and regulations

Work with vendors as needed

Coordinate information creation, receipt, storage, retrieval and disposition

Evaluate current active records systems for completeness, efficiency and usefulness by taking inventories and reviewing retrieval needs

Perform other duties as requested by Records Manager and Records Supervisor

The incumbent in this position should preferably possess a College Degree, preferably with 1+ years experience working with manual/automated records management systems in an office or professional environment. Basic Windows 95/98, WP and Spreadsheet Package also required. The successful candidate will have the ability to handle difficult clients, employees and situations, ability to meet deadlines and understand the time issues involved in records request handling and the ability to work extended hours and overtime as required.
