We are looking for a skilled and motivated Benefits Administrator to join our team at the Corporate Headquarters based in Norfolk, VA. This position will assist in the administration of Titans employee benefit plans. In this developmental role, an individual will become a key contributor of the benefits department. Benefits Administrator Responsibilities Include: Reconcile monthly billing and process payments to vendors totaling in excess of $150,000 Resolve escalated benefit claims issues for employees Communicate new and updated benefits and payroll information to employees as the Intranet Administrator Process QMCSO and QDRO Process 401(k) wire transfers Facilitate open enrollment Administer Service Award Program Administer Tuition Reimbursement Program Providing FMLA notices to employees; the approval process; tracking FMLA leave; assisting employees Administration of the Short Term Disability Policy including tracking the leave; communicating with Human Resources department/immediate supervisor; coordinating the STD pay with the payroll department; communicating with the STD vendor, the payroll department, physician and the employee. Processing required mailing to employees
Requirements and Qualifications: Associates Degree with three to five years of experience PHR and/or CEBS Certification, preferred Excellent communication and organization skills, required Project management and leaderships experience with a proven ability to work effectively in a team environment. Effective planning and priority setting. Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines. Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, AS400 Knowledge of all pertinent federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements both adopted and pending affecting employee benefit programs including ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, SECTION 125, Workers Compensation, Medicare, OBRA, Social Security and DOL RequirementsSuccess begins with hiring the right people to partner with us as we grow and develop our businesses.
