Job Type: Full Time Position Summary:
The Account Manager is primarily responsible for day-to-day operations and relationship management. Manage resolution and status of routine to complex client requests through effective/timely communication and proactive consultation to ensure client expectations are met. Demonstrate a high level of quality client service through the execution of accuracy, responsiveness, reliability and professionalism on every interaction in a fast-paced account management environment. Requires proven project management skills while working closely with internal departments to coordinate timely resolution of requests. Responsible for identifying and documenting best practices to the Account Management department. Responsible for implementation and maintenance of the prescription drug benefit, marketing material processing and reporting required by individual clients. Required Qualifications:
At least 1 year of relevant work experience in healthcare, benefits or insurance industry. An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute. Knowledge of Prescription Benefit Management industry and Medicare. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with a focus on Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook or Lotus Notes and Web applications. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Proven success managing a variety of projects effectively. Strong interpersonal skills necessary to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships. Demonstrated collaborative skills with the ability to work in a team environment. Able to work independently in a fast paced and changing work environment with quick turn-around. Requires attention to detail. Ability to meet deadlines with a variety of responsibilities. Ability to work effectively with multiple functional areas. Ability to exercise professional judgment in analyzing and resolving client issues. Ability to creatively solve problems when dealing with a multitude of variables where standard resolutions do not exist. Ability to analyze and interpret general business correspondence. Effective presentation skills with the ability to make group presentations Preferred Qualifications:
AS400 system knowledge is a plus! Knowledge of Prescription Benefit Management industry helpful but not required. Education:
