Responsibilities: Analytic Engineer/Manager position in decision insight team will be responsible for a wide range of projects within risk management organization for Chase Credit Card Division. Job Description Ø Develop cutting edge business insights and strategies across customer life cycle (Acquisition, Underwriting, Line assignment, Customer management) to support profitable growth. Ø Responsible for successful completion of several large initiatives, e.g understanding consumer spend and payment behavior and risk implications, loss forecasting, risk appetite Ø Perform advanced analyses and statistical modeling to assess relationships and patterns within customer and transactional data, and develop large and innovative capabilities and actionable strategies to solve business problems. Ø A thought leader that continually guides innovation and creation of new solutions to accelerate actionable learning's for the entire firm. Ø Strong ability to sell new techniques and learning's to all levels in the business. In this highly visible role, the successful candidate will be able to develop & communicate the business implications of analytics to executive management and other internal clients. The candidate must have strong: Ø Analytical and project management skills (creative, risk taker, willing to think different, comfortable playing with data) Ø Hands-on skills (be able to pull your own data, write SAS code and be independent) Ø Think, communicate and act like a Business General Manager (decisive, business oriented and quick) Qualifications: Ø MS or PhD degree in Statistics, Economics/Econometrics, Applied Economics, Decision Science, Operations Research, Mathematics (or equivalent quantitative field) Ø A minimum of 5 years of relevant analytics/modeling experience. Experience in statistical modeling, risk management and Business Insights in financial firm/credit card industry is preferred Ø Strong analytical, interpretive and problem solving skills with ability to efficiently compress large amounts of data into short and concise presentations with sound business recommendations.
