Here°s your chance to help take Likeable Media from a $5 million company to a $50 million company! As the Director of Sales and Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and positioning Likeable°s suite of products to our future customer base. You will then manage and maintain amazing relationships with these individuals and organizations. You will partner closely with Likeable°s account team to ensure our customer experiences exceed expectations.
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be expected to service inbound marketing requests, as well as foster new business opportunities. Our focus is to penetrate top-tier Fortune 500 companies with our social and consultant services. Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience selling at a digital agency or equivalent Roles and Responsibilities: Social media is an ever-changing field, so although you will have some routine responsibilities, your role is going to require you to adapt slightly every now and then. However, this list should give you a good idea of what your day to day obligations and expectations will be.
Understand the connection between inbound marketing and sales at a digital agency. Drive leads through vertical-based content such as e-books, whitepapers, webinars, etc. Understand PR and advertising, and utilize these skills to expand Likeable ’s reach. Understand client needs and appropriately provide solutions that will lead to closed business.
Develop strong relationships with the internal team, potential new clients, and existing clients. Understand corporate organizations and how to work within advertising agencies, brands, and matrix organizations. Must be a natural hunter, but has the gravitas and market knowledge to create strategies that allow a hunter mentality to grow and drive sales. Drive to grow our business by triple digits year to year.
Manage the sales and marketing team by example and has the ability to teach, and mentor while being a strong leader. Identify key target opportunities for Likeable Media and conduct outreach and research. Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and results. Develop and manage sales and marketing budgets.
Plan and coordinate public affairs and communications efforts to include public relations and community outreach. Create new and improved client proposals for sales teams. Represent the company at various community and/or business meetings to promote the company. Skills/Knowledge: In order to be successful in this position, you must possess certain skills/knowledge: Social Media: Knowledge and understanding of social media (beyond just Facebook and Twitter) and how it benefits brands both large and small is crucial for this position.
Marketing: A clear understanding of and passion for all marketing (traditional, new media, guerilla and ‘word of mouth ’) Proven track record prospecting new customers, closing new deals, meeting/exceeding sales goals " nurturing/growing existing customer relationships Excellent communications and presentations skills; ability to present by phone or in person Strong execution and follow-up skills Qualities: The position takes a certain type of individual.
