Advanced Fluorescence Microscopy for the Development of Cancer Therapeutics Postdoctoral positions are available in the laboratory of Prof. E. Sally Ward and Prof. Raimund J.

Ober at UT Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. Projects will involve the development and/or implementation of state-of-the-art methods in fluorescence imaging to study the intracellular trafficking of antibodies and growth factor receptors. Imaging methods will include the use of multifocal plane microscopy and superresolution approaches for single molecules/quantum dots to build up three dimensional, dynamic understanding of intracellular processes. These studies have direct relevance to the rapidly expanding use of antibodies in the biopharma industry as therapeutics in cancer and are funded by the Cancer Prevention Research Institute of Texas (
