Yale University School of Medicine is pleased to announce and actively seeking external candidates for a new junior faculty position in Pediatric Endocrinology for the 2014-15 academic year. The position is supported by our NIDDK K12 award aimed at the mentored career development of pediatric physician scientists interested in diabetes research. The K12 award provides 75% protected research time for up to 3 years to foster the development of appointees into independent investigators. K12 funding is dependent on successful completion of a pediatric endocrine fellowship within the past 5 years and US citizenship or permanent resident status. Applicants will not be eligible if they have had a prior NIH K award or have been the PI on an NIH research award.
