Administrative Assistant at our Charlotte, NC
Essential Duties/Responsibilities include, (but are not
Provide day-to-day administrative support to assigned
managers and their respective teams.
Receive and screen phone calls and visitors and
potentially direct them to the appropriate parties.
Compose and distribute complex correspondence using
standard word processing systems and/or other software
As needed, research information and compile summary
Review for accuracy and format outgoing documents that
require the manager's signature.
Collect, review and distribute incoming hard copy and
electronic mail. Independently handle mail not requiring
the manager's attention. Review outgoing mail to ensure
accuracy and proper format. Follow up to ensure
Coordinate requests from clients, manager and in-house
staff. Determine action on important or emergent matters
or knows whom to contact in absence of manager.
Maintains file of important matters for the manager's
attention upon return. Assists staff in certain
Coordinate travel arrangements, including details of
business plans. Prepares itineraries and assists in
processing expense reports.
Coordinate meetings, arranging for facilities, equipment
and refreshments. May prepare and distribute notices,
agendas, information packets and minutes.
Develop and guide the implementation of office/business
unit procedures and of filing and record keeping
Will perform other related duties as required and
Demonstrated performance in moderate and some advanced
clerical and administrative support duties.
Ability to perform duties and tasks that are varied but
Ability to resolve routine questions and problems while
referring more complex questions to appropriate levels.
Ability to select from a variety of established
procedures to accomplish assigned tasks.
Level of language skills, mathematical skills,

Education and Experience Required:
High school diploma or equivalent, and 5 years
experience in an administrative
