As a Physical Therapist with Hendrick, you will work closely with rehabilitation team members to evaluate and treat patients with a variety of issues such as low-back pain, arthritis, heart disease, fractures, head injuries and cerebral palsy. Physical Therapist – Physical Therapy Rehabilitation - PT

Job Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist with Hendrick, you will provide services that restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities. You will work with Physical Therapist mentors who specialize in lymphedema, orthopedics, NDT, wound care and other areas of expertise. Our treatment includes Inpatient, Outpatient, Aquatic, Pediatric and Sports Medicine Rehabilitation programs, Occupational Health Services, a lymphedema program and the Hendrick Equine Rehabilitation Opportunities (H.E.R.O.) program.

Additional responsibilities of the Physical Therapist include:
  • Establishing individualized evidence-based patient treatment plans according to physicians’ orders
  • Documenting patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary
  • Teaching patients how to use devices such as crutches, wheelchairs or prostheses
  • Helping patients stretch
  • Collaborating with other healthcare providers to maintain continuity of care and focus on patient goals
  • Maintaining complete and accurate patient records and documentation
Job Specifications

Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree

Minimum Experience: No previous experience

Preferred Experience: 1-2 years

Required Training: Accredited program in Physical Therapy

Required Certifications: Registered Physical Therapist in the State of Texas; must be CPR certified
