Enrollment Services is responsible for admissions, financial aid, registration, student academic records, and graduation. The department operates with approximately 155 full-time and part-time employees. Within Enrollment Services, the Graduation office facilitates the completion of students' graduation goals by outlining steps to graduation, graduation requirements, commencement, and diplomas.

Position Description: The Manager, Administrative & Fiscal Operations, serves as the principal budget and human resources officer for Enrollment Services (ES). Enrollment Services is a large complex organization with an annual budget of approximately $7 million and approximately 140 staff. Identifies, recommends, and implements strategies for the effective allocation and use of resources. Works with ES managers, other University departments, and the campus Budget office to resolve fiscal issues, maintain budget accounts, and coordinate budget transactions. Human Resources functions include maintaining policy compliance and managing recruitment and performance evaluation processes in coordination with ES managers and Staff Human Resources. Responsible for the evaluation of the use of personnel resources relative to ES goals. The incumbent also manages the Administrative Support unit and coordinates clerical, operational, and technical services in support of Enrollment Services Managers. In addition, the Manager works closely with the Associate Vice President in the development and recommendation of ES policies and procedures related to budget and personnel administration and the management of special projects. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Working knowledge of the management of fiscal operations for a large complex budget including expense management, budget control development and monitoring, budget analysis, variant reporting, and budget forecasting. Proven ability to manage human resource functions, with the skill to interpret and evaluate policies and procedures. Knowledge of personnel principles and practices. Ability to effectively supervise and manage staff, with skills in long-range planning and impact assessment to implement change and accomplish tasks. Skilled at strategic planning and project management with knowledge of software applications and automated processes and the ability to direct complex tasks and multiple projects. Ability to communicate and work effectively with all levels of the organization. Ability to communicate with an ethnically and culturally diverse campus community. Ability to follow all university policies, procedures, and guidelines including but not limited to safety, civility, information security, and non-discrimination policies and procedures. Ability to contribute to a positive university experience for each and every student, and assist in achieving the university's commitment to a "vision of excellence." Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree and a minimum of three years of related experience required. Master's degree with preparation in fiscal or human resources management preferred.
