Since opening in the summer of 2012, we have grown tremendously - we're currently in the Marshfield and Wisconsin Rapids area but we're looking into entering the Stevens Point area within the next year. We expect business to only grow from here, so we are looking for compassionate individuals to join our team and help our guests as needed.

The Homemaker/Companion

is a non-licensed member of the supportive care team who assist guests with the tasks of daily living as outlined in a written care plan that is established by a Registered Nurse Supervisor and is kept in the guest's home. The Homemaker/Companions are supervised by the RN Supervisor/Director of the Agency.

The incumbent in this position will:
Report any change in the guest's condition to the RN Supervisor

Plan and prepare meals according to specific dietary requirements of the guest

Maintain a safe, clean and healthy environment through light housekeeping including changing bed linens, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning kitchen and bathroom and laundry.

Provide companionship and stimulation for the customer including reading, walks etc and accompanying the client to doctors or other appointments as directed.

Grocery shop or complete other errands

Participate in inservice education programs

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.

Minimum of one year of work experience that can be verifiable through references.ยท

Current Wisconsin Driver's license, proof of auto insurance and vehicle availability.

Experience with end-of-life care and dementia and Alzheimer's patients preferred.
