We are currently seeking a strategic, analytical creative writer to provide messaging, copywriting, and editorial expertise for Twitter’s Sales Marketing organization. The content manager will report to the Sales Marketing Lead. The ideal candidate thrives in an organizational environment that is fast-paced, innovative, collaborative and low-ego, and can operate effectively at all levels – from strategy and execution to big picture ideas --with attention to the details. Candidates should also have a successful track record of developing blog posts, ad industry stories, messaging for advertiser-facing materials, as well as experience developing Tweet content strategies and copy for consumer and b2b audiences.
Help effectively articulate Twitter’s value proposition and proof points to advertiser audiences.
Manage Twitter’s advertiser-focused social media presence, including blogs, Twitter handles, and other platforms. Establish a consistent tone and voice, and develop / execute against a content strategy and calendar.
Develop storylines in partnership with Comms to drive coverage of Twitter’s advertising strategies and successes in support of the business and communication objectives.
Execute our advertiser messaging strategy across all customer segments, including large brands, agencies, and self-serve advertisers
Work with Product Marketing to craft positioning, value proposition, and proof points for all of Twitter’s advertiser focused offerings.
Develop messaging for go-to-market collateral for internal and external audiences, including FAQs, newsletters, emails, case studies, white papers, emails, web site content, media kits, demos, videos, etc.
Support Twitter’s trade marketing efforts, including copywriting for ad campaigns, events, webinars, etc.
Collaborate closely with the other internal groups, including Corporate/Consumer Marketing, Communications, and Product, to ensure consistent and integrated messaging executions.
8 years experience with demonstrated skills and knowledge in the following areas:
Strong writing skills and adept at writing for a range of executions, such as blog posts, white papers, media kits web site copy and newsletters to sales collateral and social media.
Depth of knowledge of the online media space and a passion for social media. Ability to develop point of view pieces on Twitter and industry developments.
Ability to multi-task and manage several complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational, planning and project management skills.
Strong oral and written communications skills. Samples of writing skills will be requested.
Strong iWork and Microsoft Office skills.
Commitment to quality, accuracy, and consistency, including brand and editorial standards.
Ability to consistently meet hard deadlines while balancing the need for quick turnaround with longer-term strategic efforts.
