Womens Services-Charge Nurse - 13010CK
Coordinating the delivery of quality nursing care for adolescent and adult patients, as well as operational issues during his/her shift. The Women’s Services nurse is responsible for the care of the postoperative gynecological or breast patient and gynecological medical patient. She assesses the patient continuously, using critical thinking skills, and in collaboration with the primary care provider, patient care management and other disciplines to provide comprehensive patient care. The Women’s Service’s nurse administers medication and treatment in a safe and timely manner. He/she provides education for care after discharge to patients and family members. The Women’s Services nurse provides age appropriate care and education to adolescent and adult patients
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current licensure in the state of Georgia. Two years nursing experience in clinical practice with demonstrated clinical competency, leadership qualities, effective communication skills and ability to use initiative and exercise independent judgement. Skilled in triage processes. Able to perform under changing and stressful circumstances.
