As a Research Associate, you will acquire expertise in your industry sectors as well as learn the most rigorous level of fundamental company and financial analysis. You will contribute to our written product, build complex financial models, and interact with company managements as well as sales, trading, and institutional clients. Our industry teams are typically only two or three professionals in number, and you will have a high level of responsibility and be empowered to make an important contribution. We make a strong commitment to Associate development, and give you opportunities to rapidly gain visibility and incremental responsibility. Our Research Associates typically have track records of outstanding academic performance, excellent analytical skills, relentless intellectual curiosity and a drive to excel at the highest level. We look for stellar intellectual and academic credentials, including honors and awards, and test scores and grades in the 90th percentile and above. We want consummate team players who seek a highly rigorous and challenging environment for their career development.
Research Associate candidates are generally recent college graduates with strong quantitative skills, although many of our Research Associates also have Master's degrees. For this role, we are specifically seeking candidates with 1-2 years experience in finance or consulting. Research Associates typically advance to Senior Research Associate positions and/or go on to business school. These are typically 3-5 year positions with outstanding growth potential.
