Potomac State College, a Division of West Virginia University located in Keyser, West Virginia, seeks qualified candidates committed to excellence in teaching and service at the undergraduate level in the following areas:
Mathematics: Instructor or Assistant Professor, tenure track. A minimum of a Master's degree in mathematics is required. Teaching responsibilities include College Algebra, Trigonometry, and Calculus through Elementary Differential Equations. (Job 230)
This position is full-time, nine month, with benefits, with a starting date of August 16, 2011. Previous college teaching experience is required. Occasional off-campus teaching may be required.

The College
Founded in 1901, Potomac State College is a predominantly two year college offering seven Associate in Arts degrees, eight Associate in Applied Science degrees, and one certificate. A Bachelor of Applied Science degree is also offered, with emphases in Business Management and Criminal Justice.
The campus includes two classroom buildings, a library, an arts center, five residence halls, three operating farms, and athletic facilities supporting an inter-collegiate athletics program.
The College is presently experiencing a significant increase in enrollment, subsequent to its merger with West Virginia University in 2005. As a fully integrated division of West Virginia University, Potomac State College is committed to advancing the mission of the University and serving the educational needs of residents within its region from the College's campus in Keyser.
The College is located 150 miles west of Washington, D.C., and 90 miles east of the main campus of West Virginia University in Morgantown.
