We are looking for an outgoing person that is looking for an excellent opportunity to join a growing company.Summary Branch ManagerBranch Manager Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Track and report margins and growth of division on a weekly basis. Planning, directing, monitoring and hands on approach to client needs. This includes facilitating morning meeting to assess orders, direct branch activities, assess submittals and set priorities. Set branch goals and motivate staff to meet those goals. Motivate and encourage team productivity while maintaining own personal standards. Run role plays, on the spot training, and daily goal meetings to focus and develop team. Continually prospect for talent via networking, job fairs, etc. Achieve placement goals. Develop and retain client relationship. Work closely with onsite plant supervisor on recruiting strategy. Coaching and mentoring team. Provides staff development and training in recruiting and branch operations including job posting, policies and procedures, interviewing, client management, etc. Understand and enforce advance labor laws and co employment issues, safety, workers compensation and unemployment. Directing branch customer service activities to establish, improve, and enhance customer service. Assist in hiring, counseling and promoting of personnel to ensure that a highly competent and professional branch staff is maintained. Conduct branch weekly close, preparing and submitting required administrative reports and financial information. Continuous monitoring and improvement of recruiting resources. Involvement in the regional community by networking and partnering with colleges, unemployment offices, etc. and being aware of industry trends. Process or provide backup for weekly payroll processing. Write clear notes in database for all temporary employee and client interaction (call outs, injuries, feedback on performance, submittals, calling in for work). Hire and fire temporary employees without the guidance or approval of their senior level supervisor. Must pass and receive a 10 hour OSHA card Recruit for permanent placement. Work at a fast pace to fill client needs quickly, effectively and efficiently Attend unemployment hearings.
Requirements: Bachelors degree or equivalent experience. 2 years human resource or recruiting experience. 2 years management experience preferable in Staffing Industry. P & L management. Training and Development skills. Possess advanced interviewing skills and techniques. Communication skills. Financial and decision making skills. Strong computer skills, including MS Office Suite and knowledge of staffing software programs. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Self motivated and directed. The ability to prioritize and execute tasks. Ability to maintain a positive and upbeat company image. Able to multitask and have the ability to be flexible with differences in workload and scheduling. Regular attendance with minimal unscheduled absences.
