Lead SOA Solution Architects

positions located in Columbus, IN.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead architecture and design activities of IT Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) solution in Enterprise Application integration (EAI), Business rules Management (BRM) and Business Process Management (BPM) technology areas. Define Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) solutions using tools that support Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) capabilities such as Routing, Transformation, Logging and Error Handling. Develop and maintain SOA technology strategy and roadmap direction. Select Integration Tools for projects, complete High Level Design and Data Flows, and test developed integrations. Create reusable integration design patterns and roadmaps and common uses for enterprise standard integration tools. Design and implement business rules solutions using Business Rules Management (BRM) architecture and design standards using IBM WebSphere ILOG JRules. Define and govern business rules governance framework by establishing iLog Rules Authoring environment using IBM WebSphere ILOG Decision Validation Services. Deploy, manage and monitor runtime infrastructure and system configuration of business rules components on Solution Server environment running on IBM WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment cluster. Develop test automation and tools including System Integration Testing, Regression Testing, and Performance Testing and establish standards and best practice around testing. Automate Unit and integration testing of rules using IBM Ilog Rule Studio on Eclipse IDE. Develop and validate custom Java Rules solutions using IBM Rational Application Developer IDE in RAD desktop environment. Lead SOA Maturity through standard based integration and execute pilot and or proof of concept activities to validate BPM principles and tools with Service Orchestration capabilities using tools, such as IBM WebSphere Process Server or Oracle BPM solution. Lead activities related to research, requirements gathering, modeling, visualization and communication of IT solution specific to SOA/Integration/BRM/BPM technology areas. Develop Integration and BPM solutions using IBM Websphere Integration Developer IDE in WID desktop environment. Establish Design time Service Management for SOA governance model and Service Lifecycle management. Define technical and application Security solution for Entitlement Management by defining and managing service security policies using tools such as Tivoli Security Policy Manager (TSPM). Define Enterprise Common Service Messaging Model using XSDs and establish Data Governance across data integration space. Establish runtime SOA Governance by defining SOA Service Management and Service Registry and Monitoring capabilities using UDDI compliant tools such as AmberPoint Management system with built-in UDDI. Establish automated Continuous Integration environment using JAVA Build Server to hold Cruise Control scripts and Apache Ant scripts for build and deployment that integrates with source code repository tools like IBM Rational Clearcase. Provide guidance and support quality assurance of all deliverables. Map corporate policies and compliance controls to integration toolsets.

Plan and provide financial support for team resources and manage project constraints, capture risks and mitigation plan. Manage scope and Change Control Process.

Participate in Change control board and provide subject matter expertise for integration and BRM technologies.

Arrange for training from technology vendors to improve competency in SOA technology areas. Perform vendor and Offshore/Onshore management.

Interact with software vendors to achieve new capabilities with existing products. Execute projects using Agile or Waterfall development methodologies in alignment with IT Project Management process.

Experience and Education:
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field and 1 year of experience as an Application Engineer, Application Architect, Consultant, or related position.

Alternatively, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field and 5 years of experience as an Application Engineer, Application Architect, Consultant, or related position. Experience must have included: IBM WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment; Business Rules Management and IBM WebSphere ILOG JRules; iLog Rules Authoring and IBM WebSphere ILOG Decision Validation Services; Eclipse IDE; Enterprise Service Bus; IBM Rational Application Developer (RAD); IBM WebSphere Process Server; Design Time Service Management; JAVA Build Server; UDDI AmberPoint Management System; Entitlement Management; IBM WebSphere Integration Developer.
