The Broadcast Operations Technician III is responsible for gathering event information from multiple sources and organizaign it into format easily utilized by systems or other uplink teams.

Duties and Responsibilities

Coordinates broadcasts for Pay-Per-View events such as WWE, UFC, cricket and DISH Season Ticket packages.

Maintains close contact with providers such as ESPN, FOX Sports and other program providers in order to assist in troubleshooting discrepancies that occur with on air broadcasts.

Tracks and reports discrepancies

Verifies the accuracy of data entered by other team members on a daily basis.

Coordinate with internal and external departments for updates and troubleshooting.

Responsible for documenting departmental roles and responsibilities by wirting technical procedures.

Position is for day shift (M-F 8:00 – 5:00)

Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work.

On-Call rotation after hours and on weekends

Will be exposed to adult content

Skills and Qualifications

High School or equivalent

General computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access)

Candidate must be self-reliant and self-motivated

Must possess exceptional organizational skills.

Must have impeccable attention to detail.

Also possess excellent communication skills, both oral and writing required.

Must be able to work well in a team environment.

Additional Details Working conditions are normal for a 24/7 office environment. Work may require weekend and evening work.
