The Activities Aide is responsible for assisting the Activities Director with the organizing and execution of activities throughout the facility. You will ensure that the on-going program of activities is meeting, in accordance with the comprehensive assessment, the interests and the physical, mental and psychosocial well-being of each resident.
This position requires a minimum of a high school diploma or its equivalent. Qualified candidates must have a high-level of energy and want to be very involved with the residents daily activities as well as facilities programs. Experience in a social and/or recreational program within the last five years, one of which was working with a patient activities program in a health care setting is preferred but not required. Experience as a CNA or Caregiver could be helpful.
