Participate in development of clinical systems strategy in collaboration with other senior nursing/clinical and medical informatics and operational leaders.
Collaborate with Nursing Executives and nursing informatics leaders in developing a the organization’s vision for nursing informatics and facilitates that vision at the regional level.
Act as a change agent working with nursing and clinical leadership teams in the identification, development, planning, implementation, and value measurement of overall informatics strategies to support quality patient care and professional practice.
Develop and implement appropriate service delivery and support models for core functionalities where the IS organization is a trusted adviser in defining, delivering, and improving services for the enterprise and its customers.
Ensures that direct reports support IS services and systems effectively and meet the needs of the clinical customers.
Provide regional nursing/clinical informatics leadership and program management for the collaborative development, implementation, support and on-going optimization of PH&S clinical information systems.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s of Nursing (BSN)
Current enrollment in Master’s program in Nursing, Informatics, Information Services, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Public Administration, or a related IS or healthcare field
Active RN licensure as appropriate (based on state)
A minimum of 10 years of nursing experience with strong experience in clinical practice, clinical informatics, and leadership
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
ANCC Certification in Nursing Informatics
