The graphic designer/video editor will report to the Director of Marketing and be responsible for creating design solutions that have a high visual impact while maintaining a strong brand and expressing the company character. The creative role involves listening to internal clients and fully understanding their needs before making design decisions. This role requires a candidate who works well in a fast paced, ever-changing environment, has great communication and teamwork skills, a thorough understanding of Adobe Creative Suite, and an exceptional creative flair.
The position will work on a variety of products and activities, including email campaigns, advertising, event materials, collateral, infographics, videos, the website, and more.
Create effective, visually engaging content for a variety of campaigns within the constraints of project deadlines
Collaborate with content owners to visually interpret graphs and diagrams for white papers, PowerPoint presentations, and other product collateral (such as datasheets, brochures, case studies, white papers, and more)
Maintain integrated brand look throughout all marketing materials, adhering to brand guidelines and following creative direction
Work smartly and efficiently â leverage existing materials so youâre not recreating the wheel
Manage workload effectively, prioritize and allocate time to maximize productivity while maintaining standards of creativity and quality
Design print ads and advertorials
Create online materials (web banners, ads, social media assets, emails)
Design event materials (booth graphics, handouts, banners, and other signage)
Edit raw video footage
Proof read all marketing pieces to ensure accuracy and consistency
Support vertical teams with creative content
Bachelorâs Degree (or comparable) in Graphic Design
Guru in Adobe Design Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat)
First-rate video editing skills in Adobe Premier or Final Cut Pro
Excellent knowledge of PowerPoint and Visio
Keen ability to translate marketing ideas into design concepts
Exceptional understanding of design theory and current design trends
Prodigious working knowledge of production for online and offline related marketing materials
Artistic ability and creativity are essential
Detail oriented, with an obsessive attention to detail and consistency
Extremely well organized and able to multi-task
Superb interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work within a highly integrated team
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, start-up environment Self-motivated, determined, high energy, ambitious, driven to excellence
Video production a plus (including sound and lighting)
After Effects experience a plus
