The Village Square Buffet at Horseshoe Tunica Casino & Hotel has an immediate opening for Host/Cashier.

Job Description:
Greets all guests with a warm smile and welcome. Receives payment from guests and enters transaction into Micros P.O.S. computer system. Escorts guests to their tables. Seats all stations in order or rotation to ensure fairness and maximum service to guests. Coordinates with servers and bussers to assure availability of tables for our guests. Inspects podium for cleanliness, organization, and par levels of all supplies to be used during the course of the shift. Works well with other restaurant employees to promote a teamwork oriented atmosphere.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Minimum 1 year of customer service experience; experience in food service preferred.
Will stand during entire shift and frequently walk the restaurant floor.
Must be able to manuever all areas of the restaurant.
Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds.
Must be able to read, speak, and understand English.
