System BIOS Engineer
Job Description: Develop Platform and Product BIOS, reference code and related documentation for Intel silicon products such as next generation chipsets and processors. Responsible for authoring BIOS specifications, creating chipset reference code and developing / supporting platform BIOS for Intel's CPUs and chipsets. Work closely with Intel silicon design teams and be responsible for all software and BIOS related issues during the planning, development, and validation stages of the program.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering with a minimum of three years of experience in UEFI based System BIOS development.
- 3+ years of experience with software (S/W) architecture, design and debugging skills
- 3+ years of experience with C and preferably assembly language
- 3+ years of experience with PC hardware (H/W)
- 3+ years of experience with ACPI Specification
- 3+ years of experience with Windows OS and Linux kernel a plus
MS Degree in applicable Engineering discipline
