Assistant Vice President
The University of Texas at San Antonio seeks applications for the position of Assistant Vice President for the Office of P-20 Initiatives.
Provide leadership and vision in promoting the successful progression of students through the educational pipeline from pre-school to K-12 through undergraduate and graduate education at UTSA. Plan, develop, implement and evaluate programs and activities in partnership and collaboration with other UTSA departments and colleges, institutions of higher education, school districts, governmental agencies, business, non-profits and other entities to address P-20 educational pipeline issues.
Ten years of progressively responsible administrative experience in higher education in the P-20 educational pipeline or related area. Strong comprehensive working knowledge of issues, problems, best practices with respect to the P-20 educational pipeline and experience in implementing programs to address them. Evidence of leadership characterized by creativity, resourcefulness, inspiration and imagination. Master's degree in College Student Personnel, Higher Education, Counseling, Management, Public Administration or related field required; Ph.D. strongly preferred.
