Nelson Staffing is currently seeking a General Laborer for a Modesto manufacturing client. This is a temporary opportunity. Veterans are highly encouraged to apply!
Compensation: $9.50 per hour
Responsibilities:
General Labor
Strapping large molds to pallets for shipping
Requirements/Experience: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities necessary to meet the minimum job requirements.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
Previous employment in a manufacturing environment
Machine operating experience at a custom molding factory and/or mill, Rotary Press, Die Cut, Finishing
Mechanical knowledge with machines used to manufacture rubber and plastics
Use of equipment and hand tools (Dremel, Shovel, Sandblasting, Spray guns, etc.)
Ability to read and understand product specifications
Ability to read a tape measure and caliper
Must pass a drug test, criminal background investigation and physical
Must be able to work with adhesives, solvents, acid etch and paint
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
