Entry level position in the Chemical operations group. The position is based in Denver and will require travel of up to 40% of the time.
The position will entail the following:
Organization of chemical monitoring data for each of the basins of operation. This will involve interfacing with vendor databases, pulling the necessary information, compiling information with company data then running reports based upon this combined data for monthly review. Chemical spend financial information will be compiled on a monthly basis. This will involve the computation of chemical spend per basin, per BOE and total chemical spend.
Updating of chemical tracking sheets. On a monthly basis will input new rate information and update chemical procedure notes as needed.
Compiling fluid and gas composition analyses into database formats for review and presentations.
Facilitating Inter-disciplinary data sharing and single point of contact for other groups.
The candidate must possess a degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biochemistry or Chemical Science to be considered for the position.
Candidate must be able to:
Troubleshoot chemical equipment
Troubleshoot emulsion, bad oil or dirty water on site
Coordinate large scale programs and follow-up with post application monitoring to ensure economic and effective program
Troubleshoot well issues due to scale, paraffin, or corrosion
Position will be filled at a level commensurate with experience.
