Basic Function: Assist the Maximo Specialist with the functional applications support for the Maximo Work Management System. Tasks may include: working with the IBM Maximo Support line to solve application issues, testing system patches, new process designs, user security roadmaps, training, report writing / dashboards, and close business relationship with the I.T. System (Technical) Administrator.
Assist The Maximo Specialist With The Below Essential Functions:
Functional / Applications Support on the Maximo Work Management System.
Maintain user security roadmaps and grids according to user roles and responsibilities.
Provides the first level of functional support to users with application and process issues, in order to maintain consistency and standards through-out the enterprise. Relays technical issues to the I.T. System Administrator when appropriate.
Identify system application issues and patches needed to maintain system integrity and performance.
Work as the applications SME (Subject Matter Expert) to assist with system testing and signoff, prior to loading new releases and patches into production.
Coordinate testing scripts and signoffs with process owners, prior to moving changes into production.
Train users on new functionality and process changes as needed.
Function as the applications lead for all Maximo related projects, tasks and interfaces.
Ability to communicate complicated operational concepts to non-operational users.
Keep system setup codes, configurations, and documentation up to date in order to maintain standards and best practices, high performance of the Maximo system, reduce downtime, and high user productivity.
Monitor applications performance and recommend improvements.
Experience in Maximo ad-hoc reporting, data queries, and dashboards.
Work as the business process coordinator through-out the enterprise of users and assist with support of complex business solutions.
Writes and maintains documentation to describe program development, logic, system coding, testing, changes, and corrections in accordance with policy and SOX auditing compliance.
Recommends new solutions and upgrades in alignment with strategic plans and business requirements.
Assist with Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity functions.
Assist IT Department with other support related issues as required.
Perform other special projects and assignments as required.
Perform all duties inherent in all supervisory, professional and administrative positions. Consistent with all positions in this classification, additional projects, tasks and/or duties beyond what is outlined may be assigned as required.
