Sharethrough is looking for an experienced Lead Web Designer to make our products beautiful and engaging. The position is full-time and is based in our (sweet) office in downtown San Francisco, CA.
Sharethrough is the leading online social video marketing platform. We work with top media companies (Fox, Sony, Katalyst), big brands (Motorola, AT&T, Carl's Jr.), and ad agencies (Universal McCann, Mekanism) to guarantee success with online video marketing campaigns. We're a team of 11 full-time entrepreneurs helping to shape the future of social marketing. We are funded by Mike Maples and Ron Conway, early investors in Twitter, Digg, Google, and Facebook.
You will work with a dynamic, fast-moving team who is creative, entrepreneurial and focused on delivering the best consumer experience available.
NOTE: This position is for a highly experienced graphic web designer. You must have an online portfolio and past experience as a product design leader.
Create a visually-cohesive suite of products and brand collateral
Ship products of the highest quality through strict attention to visual and interaction details
Create interfaces that are fast, consistent across browsers, and demonstrate an intimate knowledge of browser quirks and best practices
Extremely detail oriented down to pixel-perfect implementation
Support marketing, business development, and sales with web/print collateral
Create presentations that clearly communicate ideas, initiatives, etc.
Firm understanding of CSS and the CSS quirks founds in Mozilla, IE 7, Safari
Strong portfolio featuring past web design projects
Expertise in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Powerpoint/Keynote
Ability to handle the pressure and fluidity of a start-up environment
Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders
Basic knowledge of MVC Frameworks in PHP
Experience with working in an engineering environment
Knowledge using PHP in Zend Framework
Experience with Flash
Experience with user testing and complicated workflow design
Experience with offline/print design
Ability to jam on any instrument. The more obscure the better. We have a band room in our basement with 4 guitar amps, a bass amp, a keyboard, and a drum kit.
