Review, comprehend and comply with all SOP's and quality assurance standards pertaining to specific area.
  • Generating reports and maintaining data systems and information.
  • Maintain, collects and enters census data management.
  • Submit IT tickets for facility and office equipment.
  • Assist with preparing cage cards and other facility/animal related information.
  • Actively interact with customers as required to solve customer requests, inquiries, and complaints and to provide assistance.
  • Filing – help organize and maintain offices supplies, retrieve documents from files and protect confidentiality of offices files
  • Use and help maintain typical office equipment (fax and copy machines, PC, laminator, printers) and calling in orders for service as needed.
  • Prepare and submit required written records, charts, logs and inventories as requested.
  • Maintain required attendance level and adherence to work schedule in accordance with required staffing levels in order to ensure that assigned duties are completed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
    • Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
    • Experience: Two years experience with computer entry and database management. One year experience in a laboratory animal facility is desired.
    • Certification/Licensure: Achieve Assistant Laboratory Animal Technician (ALAT) certification within one year of eligibility.
