The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee campus is located on Milwaukee’s Upper East Side, one of the city’s most attractive residential areas. UWM Athletics currently has 300 student-athletes participating in fifteen NCAA Division I sports as part of the Horizon League Conference and has moved itself into a prominent position both regionally and nationally.
Job Summary/Basic Function:
UW-Milwaukee is seeking applicants for the position of the Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach. Under the direction of the Head Coach and in accordance with all NCAA , Conference, State and Institutional rules and regulations will assist in the recruitment of student athletes; practice and game planning; player skill development; academic monitoring; advising and counseling; office management and promotional activities. In addition, other duties as assigned.
A Bachelor’s Degree and Valid Drivers License (Must be eligible to be a certified driver through UWM’s Risk Management Office).
Collegiate, professional and/or international coaching or playing experience; recruiting experience; familiarity with NCAA rules; experience uploading/downloading video and match editing; experience with academic monitoring and advising/counseling of student athletes; athlete skill development knowledge; community relations & fundraising ability and the ability & desire to work with a diverse student population.
