The Airplane Health Solutions (AHS) team is seeking an experienced programmer/analyst responsible for the value-added contributions to the evolution and the support of AHS applications that support military aircraft and improving their quality, cost and delivery. United States person status, strong leadership, teaming, technical and analytical skills are required in addition to experience in implementing and executing an agile software development process.
Provide the information technology support for AHS military applications to plan and implement new customers, to implement enhancements and corrections to defects, to respond to product engineer and customer requests for assistance and to perform production support.
Team with the AHS military applications product manager, project manager and Quality Assurance team lead to plan the evolution of AHS military applications, the iterations to implement them and track the progress to plan for the iterations.
Team with the AHS product engineers and Quality Assurance analysts to define agile user stories to record the functional requirements that satisfy the quality, cost and delivery requirements of the AHS military customers.
Perform the design, coding, unit testing, implementation and support of changes to the AHS military systems that satisfy their functional and performance requirements. Up to 80% of the time will be spent on this task.
Team the AHS Quality Assurance analysts to investigate and analyze AHS military software problems and correct them.
Periodically will be on-call 24x7 to identify and resolve problems with the AHS production system.
Team with the AHS product engineers and Quality Assurance analysts to use test driven agile software development methods and tools to improve the quality, cost and delivery of the AHS applications and the processes, products and services to support the systems.
Team with other organizations to design, program, test, implement and support integrations with other software systems.
Communicate with the AHS management on the plans and status of implementing improvements to the AHS military systems.
Contribute to the information technology (IT) architecture evolution of AHS by participating in revising the IT road map and other IT architecture products.

Basic Qualifications For Consideration
Do you have a minimum of five (5) years of experience implementing the new functionality and supporting of web-based applications?
Do you have a minimum of five (5) years experience executing a test-driven agile development process that includes design documentation and automated functional testing?
Do you have a minimum of five (5) years of experience working with Linux, Java, Java ServerPages, Tomcat, Oracle, PERL, data warehouses, VersionOne, HTML, XML and/or XSLT?
Technical bachelor's degree and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or a Master's degree with typically 3 or more years' or a PhD degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study.
