The incumbent witll manage and direct associates within the Risk Operations (Collections) MIS department to ensure operational business needs are met. Job involves interfacing with key internal stakeholders to continually meet company's financial goals and efficiency targets through trending, reporting and analysis. Also interface with internal technology group to facilitate design of company's data architecture, ETL processes, and the facilitation of Business Intelligence solutions to monitor performance.

Key Accountabilities:
Ensure team execution of detailed daily, weekly, and monthly reports on performance of the Collections and Fraud department

Work in a fast paced environment managing multiple deadlines and processes

Leveraging financial, operational, and customer data to identify performance measures and drivers, performance benchmarks, and appropriate (corrective) actions

Work with the team to build their competency at structuring and analyzing hypotheses in support of Operations

Actively contribute to reshape processes and strategies as needed

Meet process control requirements

Work to integrate reporting from various systems and sources to develop unified, comprehensive view of the business.

Work closely with system programmers to generate new reporting tools or modify current work products to optimize capabilities and improve efficiency.

Interface with technology and the business to perform analysis and design of data architecture, ETL, and the facilitation of Business Intelligence solutions.

Problems encountered are difficult in nature and complexity; decisions are generally strategic in nature with day to day decisions generally made without supervision or review.

Communicate high level results of decisions to management.

Control Objective (5%):
Understand the appropriate Policies & Standards applicable to my role through reading the Code of Conduct and other training allocated to me. Where responsible for risks and controls ensure that these are appropriate and fit for purpose.

Measures:
All mandatory training completed to deadline and understood within given timescales.

Where applicable, all key risks identified, tracked, logged and managed as per the Risk Framework procedures

Where applicable, all key controls to have identified owners, with audit trail of regular review and maintenance together with supporting records.

Where applicable, all risk events (incidents) or control failures to be escalated, investigated, reported and fixed at root cause to prevent reoccurrence

Qualifications

BS/BA degree in MIS, Finance, Economics, Engineering or other quantitatively focused subjects required; MA/MBA a plus

Strong familiarity with SAS and SQL; MicroStrategy is a plus

Demonstrated analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools

Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills

Energy and enthusiasm to drive results

Ability to manage and prioritize time and projects

Strong team player

Proven track record of delivering appropriate depth of analysis in a fast-paced environment

Familiarity with contact center metrics and analysis

Strong PC skills -- including proven skills and results in tools such as Access and Excel.
